On set

ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHER TONY BLAKE

Specialist actor headshot photographer Tony Blake has a wealth of experience in working with professional actors and presenters.  As well as shooting casting headshots, Tony also works as a stills photographer on TV and film productions commissioned for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky. Tony works with some of the leading actors and agencies in the UK providing a specialist headshot service from his North West studio. Tony has just finished shooting stills for another new BBC drama and recently shot the unit stills for "Broken" by Jimmy McGovern.

THE SHOOT

Tony shoots the vast majority of actor headshots with the most natural lighting possible. Shot in the studio rather than outdoors, so not having to contend with the great British weather!  During the shoot you can also make any hair and clothing changes to create different looks to bring variety to your headshot portfolio.

PLEASE NOTE: Make-up should be kept to a minimum and should look as natural as possible. This also includes avoiding the use of additional eye lashes, as these can take over the image and all the attention away from the face.

Whether you are looking for your first set of headshots or you are looking to update your current images, we can help you. If there is something particular you are after, that isn't included the the Actor Headshot Package, then get it touch and we'll see what we can do!

PLEASE NOTE: The turn around for contact sheets from the shoot is currently 7 working days. Also the turn around for finished images can take up to 7 working days. We will always try to turn these around quicker if possible.

When arriving please only arrive a few mins before your session time, sometimes there is only a short time between sessions. This will give us time to freshen up the changing room for your arrival. Thank you.
